EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

BRETT NARVESON

Brett has been working as a Parts Representative at Lake Chevy for the past 10 months, where he'd describe a typical day as, "busy, busy, busy!" His personal motto: "stay focused," has likely helped lead his to his proudest moment thus far at work- winning Employee of the Month. In his spare time, Brett likes to spend time with his family, watch movies- especially Star Wars, tinker with electronics, and play guitar. Final thoughts, Brett? "Be kind. Be happy."

Congratulations, Brett! Keep up the great work. We enjoy having you on our team at Lake Chevy.

JOE LAMB

Joe is a familiar face at Lake Chevy. He's been serving customers in the Lake Region and beyond for 18 years. His favorite part of the job is the people he gets to meet, and Joe said it's pretty memorable to sell to generations in families. Joe believes that to be his best he has to set the stage to have a productive day and then make it happen. And as for customers? "I believe in repeat, not one-peat" which is evident by his list of returning vehicle purchasers. When Joe isn't at work, he likes to be with his family and watch sports, especially basketball and football. He said not to let looks fool you- he likes to have just as much fun as the next guy. Final thoughts, Joe? "What it is, what is was, what it shall be."

Congratulations, Joe! Keep up the great work. We enjoy having you on our team at Lake Chevy!

Lake Chevrolet teams up with Devils Lake Blue Line Hockey Club for 2016-2017 season

Devils Lake, Nov. 14, 2016-In the spirit of teamwork thought by youth sports, Lake Chevrolet is joining Devils Lake Blue Line Hockey Club to provide players and coaches with hockey equipment kits that include hockey pucks, t-shirts, knit caps, a sponsorship check and an opportunity for community members to enter the free Ultimate Hockey Experience sweepstakes.

Each of the sponsored leagues across the region will receive 500 free sweepstakes entry forms to distribute within the community. At the end of the entry period, four youth hockey supporters will win the Ultimate Hockey Experience in addition to other prizes.

Lake Chevrolet will also present a check representing a one-time monetary contribution to Devils Lake Blue Line Hockey Club.

Some leagues plan to grant scholarships to families who cannot afford to enroll their children in the league, while others will use the funds to improve facilities and equipment.

"Lake Chevrolet supports youth hockey because Chevrolet believes play opens up all kinds of possibilities for these kids and the community," said Wayne Brandt, General Manager for Lake Chevrolet. "We hope that giving them the opportunity to raise much needed funds will make this a great season for League."
